Meet Our Lead Therapist
Mr. Patrick Thomas is the founder of Impact Counseling Services, a seasoned educator, a mental health professional, clinical therapist/clinical supervisor, and an esteemed, award-winning faculty associate professor with a rich academic background rooted in excellence. Holding both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Arizona State University.
Patrick is deeply committed to fostering positive change and empowering others to achieve their full potential and their personal goals on their journey of life.
Based in Arizona for over three decades, Patrick is deeply rooted in his community and understands the unique challenges facing its residents. His compassionate nature, coupled with his extensive experience, allows him to connect with individuals from all walks of life, offering them unwavering support and guidance on their journey towards personal growth and fulfillment.

Child & Adolescent Counseling
Our child and adolescent counseling services are designed to help young people overcome a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and more. Our therapists use evidence-based techniques to help children and teens develop coping skills, improve self-esteem, and achieve greater success in school and other areas of life.
Addiction Counseling
Our addiction counseling services can help you overcome substance abuse and other addictive behaviors. Our licensed therapists use a variety of evidence-based techniques to help you develop coping skills, build a support network, and achieve lasting recovery. We also provide support for family members affected by addiction.
Military and First Responder Counseling
Our counseling service providers work with active, no longer active, reserves, and retired military personal and first responders from all different professions with counseling services to help clients deal with the experience of having PTSD, other mental health concerns or conditions as well as individuals that have previously used or are currently battling an addiction to drugs or alcohol. In sessions, clients will have the chance to talk about topics like grief and loss that they have experienced and the stages of grief and where they may fit in those stages, personal isolation, personal traumas, and the depths of ones individual thoughts. If individual counseling sessions services are scheduled and then provided, then based on assessments and time in sessions, if it is shown that greater services are needed, a recommendation from our team to the client or a referral from our team for a higher level of care will occur. At Impact counseling Services, we see clients for individual and group therapy sessions but are not an inpatient facility.

Our experienced career counselors can provide guidance on job search strategies, resume writing, interviewing skills, and more, to help you succeed in your chosen field.
